When founder & president, Keith Allred, had the idea of founding The Common Interest, he asked knowledgeable Idahoans to identify retired Republican and Democratic legislators who had the best reputations for substance, integrity, independence, and working well across the aisle. Those retired legislators became the leaders of The Common Interest.
